Do you acknowledge other drivers

I only way if I'm on a two-lane opposing street of highway. Even some of my fellow company drivers don't wave back. It doesn't matter to me. I only do it when it's safe to do so first and foremost.

 

I don't mind if they don't respond. What scares me is how many don't even notice.

 

most times I do...1/2 the time no body cares

 

Most of the time when I wave as I'm passing, they look at me like I'm crazy.

 

I wave every time I pass a may truck same direction opposite direction shipper or truck stop and teach my students to half don't notice a quarter wave and the others just look and I always flash

 

I quite signalling due to all the "dont flash beams in my mirrors" requests, I will signal back if road is clear of near-idiots & will respond to wave if similar but do not initiate waving due to thinking about the swamping of "driving school only" with no heavy time around operations

I do however make a point to not cut in front and to signal "okay to pull in front of me" but I just stick my hand out the window and do not use lights due to all the complaints

 

I wave when passing another driver and wave at other company drivers if I see them. I usually hit my lights when it's ok to come over in the day time and always do at night. Never use highbeams.

 

I got passed the other day in Wyoming. The guy gave me a one finger wave. Real tough guy speeding off after that. Freakin chump

 

THAT WAS not A "1 FINGER WAVE". He was just letting you know what his I.Q. was...............
