I'm a new member here at TTR, though I've been browsing threads since I started trucking school just over two years ago. I drive for one of the largest so-called "bottom feeder" companies (Swift) and have been quite happy so far. I've been OTR, mostly, with a few weeks of dedicated and about six months on a Canada fleet. I'm based out of NY, but can and will go anywhere in the lower 48 and Canada. I enjoy my job most of the time and always strive to do my best. I look forward to some interaction here on the board and am willing to learn and hopefully give back some of what I've learned myself.

    Stay safe, drivers.

Swift is not actually particularly bad, those who complain should shut the left-door and go look for loads or spend the time running in-cab searches for something better = any company no matter how excellent & pristine will eventually have some pizzmoaners but I would not give them the fur-coat off a flyin rat's carcass in a ketchup factory for their opinion ~ you only see one in 20 companies, I went looking last night in desperation and there are at least **-> ten or twenty times the companies we hear about <-** not even counting small-operators with fleet of one or ten running trucks ......

it is a hard lesson to discover and takes skill to keep it in mind but can be guessed by the fact that those who really-really fail are parked in Cold Slab Bank
