c 13 mpg

What is your fuel mileage since you got the tune?

 

My mpg is everytime up 6,and when i have 2 or 3 luckydays i pass the 8,Iam happy with my engine,maybe next year i do a overhaul o buy a other truck with a c 13 and do a stage 1 tuning from mr.Haney

 

What type of trailer are you pulling and GVW?

I have a C13 and have had the same fuel mileage as aiwiron. I just had it looked at and tuned by Rob in NC. He found boost leaks at the air compressor and a bad boot. Driver says the truck runs twice as good as it ever did. I asked him to fill the tanks to check the mileage, but of course he didn't do it before he brought it home so I can't tell you if mileage improved . Will update as I find out after truck goes out next week.

 

What a difference fixing a couple of boost leaks and a tune makes. The truck now runs like a bear and is averaging 6.2 to 6.4MPG. The driver went up Fancy Gap on 77 today with a 12 wide load and dropped one gear just before the top of the hill. I was ready to get rid of the truck and write the C13 off as a poor excuse for an engine, but now it's putting a smile on my face! I'm not sure what the tune did but gotta believe it put the timing back into the engine like the Bully Dog and PDI tunes do.

 

square hood and DPF is your problem

 

Been running the truck 3 weeks now and the fuel mileage is up to 6.78mpg. I'm very impressed!
