I have just passed the HazMat written and am now scheduled for the fingerprinting for next Wed, but will probably have to reschedule as more than likely I'll be gone on the Hurricane Disaster work. Hoping to get fingerprinting and background check working before I leave so maybe it will be finished when I get back and I'll be ready to hit the road down the Eagle Ford.

I have some contacts who may provide information on the finger-printing effort though I expect it will go to L-1 ~ there is an office in town but I do not have $10 for food, let alone the $100 fee so will continue work today looking for whatever employment I can find - I have a few hours b4 scoot to Sallie then will either go to T.W.C. & Library to use computers for search or back here .... I am going to pm you my Manta listing but dont publish it as I try to keep things somewhat compartmentalized to keep risk-factors isolated .... sorta gets involved but if we do the work at hand efficiently it may be that ....
dunno, maybe we should talk on the phone but I have industrial hearing loss so any and all conversations are subject to revision & control by errata such as any business operation routinely does .....
for what it is worth - go read Don Lancaster: "The Case Against Patents" <-- save us both days and months of wasted time if you read it, I had an autographed copy which I gave to Jack ..... ( my controller )
Also, for wire-line I think we will need to do work on explosives training .....
whatever happened to just get up and go look for a job?.....
from my thread in regulations:
All you will have to do is hazmat test and fingerprinting. All other endorsements will stay. Your hazmat endorsement will expire the same time as your license. You will have to repeat the process every 5 years... fingerprint, background, hazmat test. Pain in the booty
safety requirements for using sources of radiation for wireline service operations including mineral-logging, ...

I am about 75 miles East off the 60 freeway, South of San Bernardino and East of Riverside but West of Palm Springs. Where is the you-tube thing? I look through the thread but didn't find it. How far is Kerny or Kennedy from SA? In a perfect world would like to locate the family near San Antonio.
Any more word on relocation fees or is that a PM thing? Could be there quick. Thanks for all the ground work your doing. -

well we have additional work to do b4 you spend bucko$ like what it takes,...it is looking good for just about anything South of San Antonio .... try Chalk Mountain first and if they make you an offer get it in writing but those are difficult to enforce and for my worth they are like about worth one flyin-rat's-furr-coat in a ketchup factory ~ I have seen those "headhunter" things and they are worse than waste-paper on the floor, not even in the place they need to be ..... I am really really busy right this very moment working on Lexington, TX 78947 as discussed in pm's .... I found good activity in Giddings and have one place that actually wants a pump-operator there asap
this is the video:

I ran a stabalizer on it & did some overlays, sound is courtesy You Tube ..... there is some track at the end with no music but that is Austin Chalk, where I actually interviewed,.......
Kenedy / Karnes City is southeast of San Antonio - follow "US-181 South" going South East through Floresville to Kenedy, stop at Shale Tank Trucks and the adjacent yard a mile or two north of Kenedy / Karnes City
In the Kenedy / Karnes City area DPS is having to run tricked-up black-ops cars with supervisors just to field all the Troopers, so major acute "field-awareness" several times a second .....
there is work here but does not make sense to launch right this moment with no confirmed hire from decent branded operation & place to sleep, I have lived like this and #1 is place to sleep and shower, I spent a full day in Giddings and drove back to prepare for application at Key Energy Services but what if they do not need me at that yard?....
Oil is back to near $100 right at the moment so it is going to be like that for awhile,.....
I will look for your generalized location as I enjoy that but smart thing to do right this moment is look for job-fairs in San Antonio and either fly in on Southwest for one day or see if we can get AllieCat to front our operation there,..........
you are not going to go from a decent house and a car that runs to pulling a vacuum truck in EFS without some time in heavy-industrial where 12-14 hours are usual,.....I neither know nor want you posting in the clear what your personal details are but most persons doing this leave the family for a few months until several checks are in and they see they can do it ....
then for my two cents terms are: "when the check clears the bank" which sounds to those without street-smarts like it will drive away business
after you get a few you will want to drive them away ~ sounds bazzakwards but after you have done this several times you realize that is how it is .....
Moreno Valley, CA ~ Floresville, TX 1,321 miles = 20 hours 3 mins
If you have a clean background record, (usually meaning fewer than 3 moving violations and no felonies), and can pass a drug test, chances are there is a truck driving job in the Eagle Ford shale waiting for you.
