I think the point of this thread has been missed. When I read it, I took it that the OP was looking to hear about some "cool" loads that stood out from the rest. You can't honestly sit here and say that there hasn't been a load that wasn't interesting to haul. We've all had one. Myself, back when I was floating equipment, I moved a monster truck. Unfortunately, the owner loaded and unloaded it himself. :biggrin_25510:

That is actually where I got my training for driving a truck before my test in 2001-2002. My neighboor is paul Shaffer or Shaffer Motorsports (not the Letterman band leader LOL) and he runs 7 monster trucks. I had gotten a job at his salvage yard picking up junk cars and running the loader when he heard i was trying to get my CDL. So he offered me to take a trip with his guys out to Birmingham for Monster Jam and I took them up on it. Not only did they let me drive the rig, but I got to pull the truck on and off the trailer because I was only 150# at the time and it was easier for me to climb in and out. It is called Monster Patrol..... that was a fun job :)

As for FB loads, the most fun (and worst load I ever pulled) was a load of PGA Golf Stand Equipment. It was over 50,000#, loaded in 118* temps and I couldn't even get my truck into the delivery site and they had t rent a daycab to take the trailers onto the course..... even tho it sounds like a PITA, now looking back it was a pretty fun load. Anything with a challenge is fun, the easy stuff just gets boring after a while (like Hummers)

My favorite loads are the ones where two loads fit on one trailer. Commodity does not matter.
