Hey Guys, I have a w900l that has the doors with the vent window, and was wanting to install daylight doors for it. I was wondering what all do you have to change to make the daylight door work. It looks like the only thing i see different is the door latch and striker post. I think the striker post for the daylight door is in a "U" shape rather then a post. Not for sure though. Any help and knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks

I would suggest the same answer as someone who posted a modification question a couple of weeks ago about a KW - try calling KW headquarters and ask for Applications Engineering. My converstion with them a few years ago about spec'ing a new truck was very informative! If they can't help maybe they could point you to someone else who could.
KW Customer Service was a joke when I asked about a cab issue a couple of years ago, referred me to my local dealer (Atlanta - not sure if they are any better as MHC now as when they were KW of Atl!).Last edited by a moderator: Oct 8, 2018

I'm in the process of doing the Daylight door swap. The Daylight doors I have take the u shaped striker which I found in a junkyard. Looks like I'm going to have to do some modification to the door post to fit the new striker plate. Any information or pics would be greatly appretiated.
