Installing Daylight Doors on W900L

I would suggest the same answer as someone who posted a modification question a couple of weeks ago about a KW - try calling KW headquarters and ask for Applications Engineering. My converstion with them a few years ago about spec'ing a new truck was very informative! If they can't help maybe they could point you to someone else who could.

KW Customer Service was a joke when I asked about a cab issue a couple of years ago, referred me to my local dealer (Atlanta - not sure if they are any better as MHC now as when they were KW of Atl!).

 

i tried that some years ago. i was told by the higher up's they wont interchange there is supposed to be a slight difference in them.

 

so it can be done? thats good to know because i want to go back to the ones with the wing window in them.

Daylight doors are heavier thou!! heavy trks don't make big payloads!! Old vent windows look old school.

 

Any pics I seen a k100a with some daylight doors I had to take pics

 

I'm in the process of doing the Daylight door swap. The Daylight doors I have take the u shaped striker which I found in a junkyard. Looks like I'm going to have to do some modification to the door post to fit the new striker plate. Any information or pics would be greatly appretiated.
