Lol that's what I thought, then I got glasses.

I actually have one that I never used if someone wants it. It's an older one. I bought it and put it up.

If it is newer than my 07--Ill take it! LOL
I just wish they would have paid more attention when they broke up the states--I am guessing they just blew them up and cut and pasted evenly--which may work for them from a cost standpoint--BUT--makes some pages even tighter than the regular scale---or breaks things up in a way that is much to hard to follow--case in point look at the NE Texas page on large scale vs--the SE Texas page--for just one shining example.....
    Just my $.02

Placed a large scale on order a week ago and still waitng for it.
Google Maps is good, but it doesn't do truck routing. If Google wanted big bucks, they'd have to make a Google Maps For Truckers.

The big laminated ones are really nice because you can write in them with those erase markers and easily wipe it off when your trip is done. Plus the large ones make a good lap tray for your dinner!

You can get them a lot cheaper if order them through Amazon. You can also get last years version for like 75% off....

According to the press announcement, they are only going to be available at TA and Petro and the price is set at $59.95 or thereabouts. I looked at one, still has the same inaccuracies, but the coating is like the regular spiral bound atlas now, not that moisture resistant non glare coating they used to use.

The heavy duty atlas now has a $10 rebate bringing the final cost to $19.99, the paperback version can be had for much less than that. 3 times as much money for the large scale. I don't get by many TAs, but have to scale live haul loads at the one in Albert Lea, MN.
