How easy is it to get on with Averitt

    We are looking into averitt express. They just started taking recent graduates. My fiance has applied and sent in all the info but how easy are they to get on with? they wanted last ten years employment and hes only 22 so he doesnt have too much but what he did have was fast food and grocery stores ect. He also has 1 1/2 years of unemployment in the past. would this affect him alot?

    the ten years is for driving DOT regulated, usually 3 years-back if no time driving DOT regulated is all the job history they will ask for & at 22 some may consider unemployed this or that way but with all the checking that is done I do not see any basis to give up early ...... if averitt has recruiters - you can find them on the career page - those should provide answers for most questions like that,....

    I suggest applying to enough places that you and he get a feel for what is needed, I have job applications from Eagle Ford Shale that I still have not started on 17-20 pages typical ..... get a fire resistant storage box for all the papers inclusive of birth-cert .... then, after reading up today I suggest also getting a pass-port as they are cheap and allow List-1 processing of I-9 .....

    Get ready for paperwork,.........
