Just when I was about to log my on duty time, or even my drive time. The Qual-comm (a.k.a. The taddle tell box) shuts down, because they are gathering data. Suggestion: Why not do that when the driver is asleep, instead of when the driver is starting their day? It would seem logical. Not getting upset over spilled milk. Just saying.

Had the same thing happened to me. I was dispatched to pick up a load in Reading, PA. The time it said was 1900 hrs. I wasn't going to wait that long after I started my clock that morning, and do the split break. Been there and done that. Decided to drive over to the customer. I had on my U.S. Marine Corps Retired cap, and they went ahead and loaded me when I got there. Which, I don't think that had nothing to do with it. My FM sends me a message and ask if I talk to Log Department about split breaking. I just kept on driving to the shipper with no response.
