I know someone who has a CDL and one ticket on his MVR.It was for a lane violation and was charged one point.
Swift rejected him.
So, my question is.Is Swifties accident record so bad that they require
a totally clean MVR now?
And no there is nothing else, no convictions,no accidents, only the one
ticket.
Rejected by Swift

Thay need to leave room in the file for all the future swift stunts.

The only sort of good ticket to have is impeding, basically driving too slow.
Many companies aren't too worried about those. -
Did your friend take it to court and lose or did he just pay it? I actually got a ticket from a trooper on a power trip because I was "weaving". After treating me like a criminal, accusing me of drinking and doing drugs, and searching my vehicle he gave me a ticket because he said I crossed the yellow line. I went to court and the pretrial lawyer told me she'd just make it a non-point violation for "impeding traffic" or something like that. When talking to my recruiter, he asked about a misdemeanor, and I told him even though I wasn't sure it was technically a misdemeanor, that I had gotten a ticket and it had been reduced; he asked what it was originally and I told him improper lane usage. I start school in about a week, so I got really lucky or it's not something huge. Maybe it's huge for insurance companies, though, and the lack of that actual violation was the deciding factor--I couldn't tell you for sure.

Swifts original owner bought the company back fairly recently I think, maybe they're got more strict standards now..
