The driver and his wife both lost there life, is that what you were saying. This is the sad part of our journey, when we wake to start out our day"s to del or p/u lds. We pray that we dont have to encounter anything horrible like this. But when we do the only thing we can do is pray for them and there family.Because we r never promise tomorrow. So God be with all us out here each and every moment ********

That is such a sad situation for his family to lose two people. I may not be a trucker, but I am truckers wife, and I know the risks that he takes on out there every day. I always pray for the truckers to be watched over, and that they make it home to their loved ones. When I worked in the trucking industry I had two drivers that rolled their trucks off of the mountains in Virginia. Luckily they did not lose their lives, but did receive minor injuries. I respect you guys for being out there to provide for your family while knowing that there is a risk to your own lives and safety. You guys deserve so much more respect out there then what you get.

Looking at the area on Google Earth, looks like the runaway truck ramp is about 1 mile behind the point of the accident. He would have been going west on Hwy 16. He may have upshifted a little early, thinking he was closer to town, and gained to much speed for the grade. "We all gotta go sometimes". Sad
