Well I tried the 24inch step 5 times was only able to get up on it three times. Tripped getting down twice and took the ladder almost over with me once. So it was combination of those things that sent me home I passed every other part of the work well as far as I know
-
On a side note I'm getting on a diet and hitting the gym and I will be going back to central next year
-
Yeah that's why I'm here, a guy backed into me at a truckstop. I have 2 scratches about 8 inches long on my sleeper. They told me a 2 hr fix.

I remember when JJ started thi thread it was a great way for to stay in touch tru are travels but as time went on more and more people gave miss leading information. I ran for Central for over 3 years and I watched meny new drivers fail under the Central way. I ran Coors for most of my 3 years also Walmart Dedicated as I trained for them. Coors was a solo thing for me and 3,000 miles a week were always there for us but meant never getting into CA AS a refer solo driver 3,000 miles a week just doesn't happpen I know I did it. Im also 6pak4-two the second one to post on the first Central thread. Central and I parted ways on a good note back problems and medication did not allow me to drive for awhile. I still have friends there and all are doing well not getting rich but happy. Central will rip you off no doubt and whoever I'm quoting is correct in what he's says.

Exactly what happened to me but they gouged my fender and peeked some paint off the bottom of the sleeper. How long has it taken to get you fixed and running?

You should be fine. For the most part, sexual orientation isn't going to come up, and Central, for the most part, doesn't have a problem with gay people. There are several working for the company. The nice thing about the employees is you won't have to see them much; once you're done with school, and done with your trainer, you're in your truck, and you don't HAVE to interact with other Central drivers, and you're seldom around the office/shop staff. When you are, be pleasant and polite, and they won't care. Will you get talked about? possibly. Drivers and office/shop staff love gossip, and gay folks are a good source of it.
Buy a maglite anyway, those 4 D Cell ones are great. Mine's actually outlasted the one Central gave me as a 2 year "Thanks for not banging up the equipment or bailing" gift. I pack it anywhere I think there's going to be trouble.Adra Thanks this. -
You know me. I'm here, kind of.

Ouch, I'm sorry. The work well test can be a real bear.
When I was doing mine, I remember being totally worn out from carrying the weights the 53 feet. I just went through a bout of physical therapy, and I had to pack a 50 pound box around to prove I was doing better. I know I'm not in great shape, but apparently I'm in much better shape, because the box was nothing. -
Been a long time hope all is well with you. I take it your still with Central I hope thats a good thing. I'll keep an eye for ya and it's nice to see someone from my time is still around.stay In touch and be safe out there
