Sorry a little late on the 3 hours sitting comment, but thought I would clarify for some of the newbees. Per Roehl, (as explained to me and I think its in the DRG, but I am too tired to look) to receive detention time you must log 15 mins on-duty for check-in. Obviously you must log on-duty when doing anything and SLEEPER when waiting for the load/unload. You can not log OFF Duty at any point. You must start with min 15 mins on-duty and end with min 15 mins on-duty on you logs to qualify for detention. And obviously send in Macro 61 and fill it out on your trip sheet. I haven't missed one by doing it this way.
OK carry on!

I think the training got to you... Come back, tell them I recruited you
and demand a 2012 SILVER Prostar.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
It was the lure of "local" home daily work that got me. Unfortunately while technically accurate it doesn't pay the bills so I'm running "regional" instead though I am home Friday evening until Monday morning without fail so far. The other unfortunate is that all the flatbed work they have is local, so I can't afford to do it. :/
A 2012? I had a 2013 before I quit. I'm not downgrading!

I assume (yeah, I know what THAT gets me...
) that because I don't understand 75% of what you just said, it will all be explained to me during Phase 1 training.

Oh wow. This made me just laugh, completely off guard for that joke.

I'd just tell you to call me when you have a split logging question, but I have enough former drivers that do that. Well typically they facebook me and then I call them and walk them thru the split.

Just got home.
Called the customer this morning and asked what hours they receive. Said they stop receiving at 1500. My eta was 1530, so I asked the lady if I can deliver on Monday and she said that it was fine and that they didn't need the product any time soon. So I email my dispatcher and let him know I'm headed to the house and I'll deliver Monday. Woohoo!
