Gemini Transport in Ormond beach fl

Hey Jynxx, you have a pic of my new ride in your post LOL. Me and C switched units, guess he wanted to run the short bus for a while.

And I have had a few drivers recently strike up a conversation asking about working for Gemini while I was dropping. I agree with you about the "right place, right time" and knowing someone who works for them already...it does help out...at least it did in my case.

 

I worked for Gemini six years. Decent place and you will make good money. They are strict on policies and procedures and they will enforce them. As far as getting a job there go to www.loves.com then click on careers then click on Gemini Motor Transport careers and fill out an app online, the app will go directly to the regional manager for the area which you are applying to. I was also a regional manager for them, just could,nt take working for the old ops manager they had. He wanted everyone to treat the drivers like trash and i was unwilling.

 

I turned my app in today to the Reg.Mgr at Gemni, what is the wait time? I`m guessing 3 or 4 weeks maybe.

 

I had interview with RM today so i`m keeping my fingers crossed!!!

 

Wouldn't bother with Gemini...they have the "Big Brother" syndrome really bad. They used to be the company to work for but not anymore. Plus you are expected to do things w/o pay like take truck in for service and break downs with no pay. If you arent loaded and moving they wont pay you a dime!

 

Ive been reading the forums and wondering if you ever had any luck getting hired. I keep hearing good things about Gemini

 

Got hired today with Gemni!!!! i`m excited and ready to start. I have no fuel hauling experience so PRAY for me and them.

Yeah good luck....hope ur experience w them is better...used to work for them myself...they r not the company they once were...definately not family friendly like they say they r....
