Cat ET wont connect..?

    My cat et connects to mxs/sdp but wont connect to a 3406e? Is there a difference in cat et version or something else causing not to connect?
    I have even connected to a ISX through same adapter.....

    I can connect through dearborn diagnostic link but cat et wont.....can you change it in cat et?

    Like Pablo said you'll need to reselect your interface for a 1708 connection. I can't remember exactly, but yes, there is a setting with ET that needs to be switched over. It will be under "Options", or "interface" or "Protocol", something like that.
