I was told the EGR cooler finally got replaced...
All said, it is something that should have been done WEEKS ago...since its a known problem. Doesnt make the truck junk. I still like this truck better than any of the Freightshakers I ever drove...

The persons truck we're talking about has only 20,000 miles on it with the EGR cooler problem, another newer truck a few days ago with brake chamber leaks, wrong and damaged hoses on same truck from the factory, somewhere in mexico............I guess all of these must have been Monday or Friday trucks sorry my bad.

I have a 34qt koolatron on the right side, it is jammed in there. I use my laptop for a tv. The truck antenna has adequate reception. I am not sure on the inverter. I have room to put a medium microwave on the left side. These cabs do have a good amount of storage. Behind the driver is a large cabinet that would or should hold a fridge. I use to store food and drinks in plastic tubs.

Pirate, there are lemons EVERYWHERE. I have driven many trucks. Petes, KWs, Freightliners, Sterlings, this Int'l, Ford...you have your opinions and information, and I have mine, no biggie. I have yet to get stickers or flags to show my love for any brand.

T-Lady, I'm not trying to bash anyones truck, I'm just a bit concerned that I might get one of the ProStars to drive. So I didn't want to you upset, I'm just wanting to find out what the root of the issues, that are there, and if it is substandard parts that may or may not be on the ProStars built in Mexico, I'm not sure where else the ProStars are built, but I hope that they don't get the parts in question for ALL of the ProStars from the same parts supplier. Now let me say that I really like the look and style of the ProStar inside and out. With that said, I hope you will forgive me. I'm only concerned about the reliability and service that the engine and related parts provide or don't to the driver, because we all know,"I'f the truck isn't making miles.....you don't make any money"

I drove 2 different freightshakers with nothing but problems. I wouldn't trade my international for any other truck roehl has. No def and autostart alone are good enough reason for me.

Navistar is having some major issues with the max force engine.
They went over a million in debt due to warranty claims on the prostars
With max force engines. Also the epa is charging navistar millions in fines
Because they are selling maxforce engines that are not epa compliant
Should be interesting cause roehl keeps buying more prostars.
Starting in 2013 navistar is offering cummins engines back in its engine
Line up and is using cummins technology to get the max force engine
    Epa compliant.
