I used to be a bike messenger in Chicago and I worked with a dude who had Asperger syndrome. He wasn't the warmest fellow or much for words but he was one of the best bike messengers in the city. I think Werner probably lost a good driver.

If you want to go back to Werner, you'd probably want to look more trashy next time. Plumbers buttcrack, gravy stained Tshirt, you'd be out on the road in no time.gb2nyc, RALPHMANBEARPONY and franktaylor Thank this.

Farting in public, not brushing your tooth and not showering will also help secure a position with them.
If you insinuate that you are homeless at the present time, you will be presented with keys to the city!!!!!RALPHMANBEARPONY, franktaylor and stevep1977 Thank this. -
Hey!!! I resemble that statement!!! -
Remousamavi - you might fare better trying to find a smaller, more local or regional company than a huge outfit like Werner. Like a poster said above, Werner may have done you a huge favor. This is something you will come to understand in time.
I have a relative with AS, so I know some of the issues, from one perspective.
Best of luck to you, persevere! -
It's like being rejected from hell because you aren't evil enough.
You are better off.stevep1977 and Zen Trucker Thank this. -
Judging from your post I can't see why Werner would think you have a social disadvantage. So why don't you tell us what would make Werner say such a thing?Did you have an arguement with anybody during orientation?Did you say something unacceptable in Orientation?Werner is a bottom of the barrell company. If they send you packing then there has to be a good reason.

He has aspergers syndrome. My son has it.
He is socially inept because of it.
He is also probably intellectually high functioning.
So of course he won't fit in with a bunch of #########.stevep1977 Thanks this. -
Never heard of it.Im going to google it.
-
hey, maybe he has face tats or something like that.
I used to be a bike courier too- quite a natural progression from bikes to rigs- but I found the time on the road on two wheels helps a lot in terms of driving safely in traffic. never judge a book by its coverAfterShock Thanks this.
