in my pertsonal opnion the tats are very unprofessional espically when you can see them but that is my opnion i can not speak for central on that. there is not a company store at the conley ga terminal only in salt lake. the shirts range from $25 on up if i remember correctly. hats were in the $15 range somebody who is still there can give a better quote on prices. the lock kit for the trailer is around $100 bucks and they will take it out of your check at $ 10 bucks a week.

like you said that's your opinion and i respect that but in this era tats need to be recognized its more and more popular and more art than anything. i go by this saying " my tattoos are not nearly offensive as you starring" but dont take that offense 1bad. they wont give you company shirts to wear to customers? you think they would and the lock that just ridiculous they should give you that stuff with all the money we make our company's but o well. thanks for the info badz...when you were with central did you like it?

Pete I agree Central should provide the lock kit and some shirts. The lock kit they do provide. The $100 is a deposit you are supposed to get refunded when you leave. I have not parted ways with central and so I can not say if they honnor this. They also charge for load locks, but all I did was find a trailer in the yard witb two in the back. I was never charged for them, and if you ever leave them in a dropped trailer just tell the shop the load and trailer number and tbey will give you some shiny new ones.
The reason for making the drivers pay for the locks is that people take better care of their own stuff than company issued equipment.

    You got questions.
I had 2 Volvos before I got my Pete I loved them.
As far as a TV Fridge Microwave that's on you.
I had in the Pete a 2.3 cubic ft fridge with a freezer
A microwave toaster oven and a 22 flat screen.
    I also had Direct Tv
    Iinstalled a Striker 490 CB
    Sirius radio GPS
In the closet behind the drivers seat I installed a pantry for my food
of all the lease trucks the 386 has the most storage room I installed a
2500 watt inverter as well if you do the math your looking at around
2,500 to 3,000 dollars out of your pocket to have a little comfort
Central worked for I also drove for Swift in the mid 90tys had no problem
with them either. If you lease a truck everything will cost you and I mean everything.

    Adra Thanks this.

the volvo has a lot of room and is really comfy. i like the way the driver area is set up really easy to see the gauges and stuff. its what i call driver friendly. i had a tv and refridge that i bought outta my pocket. i recommend buying the avanti refridge its a lot better than the coleman. more money but well worth it. my trainer was jj ranch who i knew before i ever started driving so i dont have any bad trainer stories we got along real well and had a blast out on the road. and for being alone i hated it so now thats why i drive outta the port in savannah so i can be home everynight amd i am able to take my dog with me.
