    What's a pre trip?

Lol, I'm just kidding. Yeah I heard about that but haven't used it yet because I never knew how to activate it. Thanks for the info!

I usually start my days when the suns down so id just go off of the reflection of the lights to see which are working.

Yeah, I just see to much chatter about braking system and some engine parts to want my name on the registration.

My main thing is the engine. While its treating me good, it just hasn't proven itself enough for me to buy one. With the AEGR they use on these that way they don't have to use DEF I wouldn't trust the engines going to last very long.

yeah I don't understand why they didn't just design the MaxxForce to use the DEF. fluid, It's not like that stuff is going anywhere. all the truck stops put all those DEF. pumps for the long term. just don't understand. why they tried to design around it.

Their selling point was for the lowest amount of "driver maintenance". As far as maintaining the def and all that.

Here I are...past 2 days were long...602 miles and 590...but am back in WI now, from RI. What a trip. Still going thru coolant, but I have sidebox loaded with jugs of the stuff. Other than that, everything is groovy. Truck needs a bath, I need to do laundry, and am due hometime...well, overdue, but making miles, so it works.

Dirty hopefully they have 680's at the kW dealer. The look like a T700 and 660 had a baby. Having hood truck is pretty sick though after seeing so many nice ones daily. Why don't u want a bigger sleeper at least? Price tag pretty heavy for a new one but they are sure pretty. My friends uncle bought a old tmc truck he thinks. Said it looked like and had all the chrome/polish they have and it was black. High mileage he picked it up for $40k. And the prostar has dpf pirate so no need for def less hassle filing up that little tank. Like a 3rd tank everytime you fill up.

The reason for the small sleeper is because I don't "need" anything bigger. Although the main and lost important reason is for wheelbase. Having that ling hood and a small sleeper will still allow me to back fairly well vs backing with a 70" sleeper.

Most long nose Pete's I see with the 70" sleeper have a 280" wheelbase compared to the prostar having a 223" WB. The pete I looked at online was a 48" sleeper with a 240" WB. So I'll be able to keep the wheelbase short while still getting that beautiful hood in front of me.
