    where is the antenae located on a 9400i international .I currently have the transmitter located 2.5 to 3 inches from the radio but get lousy reception am constantly changing freq.I have passed trucks in a t/s and have brought their radio in 100% better than mine from 20 or more feet away.Have an fm extender but don't know where to locate it

    Far as I know, there isn't one. I never found one on our truck.

    You need one of these, they are cheap, $25 and change includes shipping and they work VERY well.

    They are 100% plug and play and VERY VERY easy to install. Took me less than 10 mins (all the while talking on the cell phone) and I even took the headliner panel down with 8 screws to install it on my KW. They plug into the back of your radio.
