If I was to buy a used truck, APU is a must.

I agree bro, I dont want to idle my truck. Aint no way im gonna be one of those guys that only shuts their truck off when their home haha

I mean hell, with all the financing options for APU's these days, it would be financially irresponsible to refuse to buy an APU (not really lol, but I personally would not want to go without one)

I've heard other apu's alot quiter than the tri-pack apu's my columbia's had. I think it was a Melton truck a long time ago. It wasnt like his apu vibrated through the truck and squeeled and whistled plus smoke upon start up. lol

    DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

The dealer says the truck is done and fixed this time. The low temp radiator was clogged, that made the EGR valve overheat and because of that the truck would go into de-reg mode until the EGR valve cooled off. He's home for tonight, I have to take him to pick up the truck tomorrow morning and go from there.

At our yard. Got in too late to make going home for the night worth it. Will be here Friday anyway, have plans this weekend and next, then I have to decide if I'm going to keep running for these guys or not. The $ they said was here isn't. The hometime definitely is, the miles, not so much. Pray for me the flatbed prayer, that I might return to that job which I love to hate to love. :)

    Perpetual and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

North Dakota should sell some of that -20 and maybe they'd have a backhaul out of their state.

    DrtyDiesel and Treefork Thank this.

Back on the road. What sucks is I'm sick! That is all.

Oh, picked up in Adel GA today. Meet up with Drtydiesel so we helped each other then ran up to exit 60 pilot for some steak n shake. Headed to Ellywood for my safety meeting then over to KY to deliver on Monday. Fun fun. I just hope I beat this cold before it beats me.
