Whatsup everyone here to maybe get some advice on signing on with a company. I have several offers but have narrowed them down drastically. My main focus is a company that will work with the Army Reserve schedule I have.

So far my offers of interest are: CRETE/SHAFFER
    TRANS AM
    PRIME Inc.
    Averitt Express
Billy Barnes Enterprises (Local and Regional Wood Chip hauling company, 3 divisions, very respectable IMO)

I have an interview with Averitt scheduled next Friday, webcam they say, so we'll see how it goes. So any opinions lay em on me!

Thanks, sent an email just for general info. Any knowledge of Averitt Express? People round here in Southeast Alabama seem to believe they are an excellent company.

Well you can choose any company last year werner got fined 5k per soldiers for not getting them on time during hurricane Irene, companies are required by law to have you on time for drill under any circumstances. So don't worry been there done that... Matter fact still doing it

what ruckie said is correct u can go to work with any company that will hire u. when u get hired on get a copy of ur drill weeks give it to ur superviser and remind them when ur on the road that u need to be hm on the that weekend. ur job is protected under the ussra act which means they cant pentlize u for doin ur commentment. when i was lookin to go back otr the companys i talked to said they would get me hm but it would count as my hm time.
