I always like dealing with Breakdown, a real pack of worker's. Always have to remind them, that heading to the tire repair shop, Peterbilt, ect, I'm doing it for free (unless your down for over 24 hrs). I always let them know when they get pissed about my quallcom comments, that they can fire me if they don't like my comments. They're bound and determined to not let me get unemployment. But hey, 52 dollars breakdown pay, "Fat City".

DCA thanks for that picture im still laughing
-
#### they paid a room for me, was 123.99 and I got the breakdown pay no questions asked. Maybe try to get a better DM
-
yeah when i broke down in KY and had to get towed an hour away to peterbilt in IN and had a room for a week my DM instantly had the $$$ on my card, the hotel accepted comcheck so thats how they got paid. the breakdown pay itself took a while, I went in and asked in person cause I didn't see it after a few weeks tho my DM had submitted it immediately at the office but somehow payroll didnt receive it so she called them and got it straightened out while i was there.
i just LOVE how when you send a message for something, like say oil, and i put everything on the message but say i forget the name of the location im at, its usually my fuel stop or something but i always get it at a pilot/flying J, they reply with "where are you buying it"... like it matters? im paying cash for it, the card never works, just put the money on my card, most times I already bought it i dont like waiting for them to put it on the card, i would have to go inside, find out how much it is with taxes and all, go out to the truck, request it and then go back in and purchase it. you're gonna see the receipt anyway when i transflow it over.... -
yeah, i never understood that, they put the money on the card but I was never able to use it like a credit card for oil or additives. I've always had to write a Comcheck for it.

I finally hit the wall here at May. Can't handle the lack of home time. I'd try to talk to them about more home time, but after reading about Scooter trying to negotiate more home time and May saying no, I figure I'd be wasting my time. I got hired at Schneider (conditional on passing drug test and skills). They got lousy trucks but I'm going in on a 6 days out, 3 days home program. Miles won't be huge, but shouldn't be that big off of a drop off of what I'm getting here on western 11 on average. I don't wanna leave May (Stockholm Syndrome), but their home time blows. My Brother in Law already works at Schneider and he loves it (for driving that is). Much less micro managing, (50 gallons here , 75 there ect.)

There's life after May
Good luck on the new venture.
