One axle wants to go one way,the other is the same. What foot? 8 foot? 10 foot? Need more info, I pull 10 foot spreads and a 53'' with a tandem fixed at 49'' sometimes.

I believe its 8' spreads ill have to confirm but that sounds right.. Measured the bridge length from center of the kingpin to middle of the rear axle is around 46' which pjts the rear axle very close the the back. Which makes turning on tight streets tough.

Dump the back axle to get it lined up with the spot and then air both up as you straighten up. Just watch your tail swing getting in and out. I loved the 48ft spread I pulled when I was on WCW Wrestling.

how do i dump the back axle? there is a a releas valve for the air tank are you saying just yank that till its empty?
since we bought the tracter seperate there isnt any control in the tractor other than the tractor susupension dump.

is there a way to manual do it or do i need to rig something like a switch in the tracter?

Looks like a 10 foot. There fun to reverse, after 15 years of backing a 10 foot it's natural. They don't pivot like a tandem, keep that in mind. OR, if want pivot, find a way to get the front axle off the ground, be it using a 2x4 or curb, front axle off the ground= pivot.

    Testdummy Thanks this.

You need to get the tractor wired up to the trailer for it, if you don't use the dump valves on it, it's going to be very hard on the trailer. and really wear out tires. I'm guessing there is a second smaller plug on the front of the trailer?

There Are lots of outlets used For powering generater. It looks like there was a switch for suspension to move body of the trailer up and down. Not sure if this is the same thing as dump valvle i imagine that would move both axles up or down to level the elevator for the car. Anyway that switch is missing its just a hole now( maybe previous owner had it wired through there not sure. Have a race leaving friday from cali to connecticut wish me luck. When i get back ill run trailer and tractor to a trailer plave mayne i can get them to wire that dump val e. Ill have to wing it tilp then, and hope i have the room to make those tight right turns( it turns like a battleship) and that fromt axle is more like sliding than turning i worry a hit about popping the tire right off the rim :(.

I wonder if dumping tracor suspension would would pull front of the trailer down enoigh to put more pressure on forward axlento force it to pivot on front axle... Or would that just be a bad idea risking seperation
