So Schneider is a dirtbag company that is only concerned with moving freight? Is that why they offer some of the (if not THE) best company training in the industry?

I don't know why SNI hung up on me. All they said was that they recieved my application, but could go no further with the process then hung up.

because they are not stupid, the do not want to replace trucks a week.

a training program is completely different than a dispatch and a irregular rout otr. training to drive the truck has squat to do with life on the road and how you are treated while sitting ont he side of the road, broke down, 1 day out from your home time with 6 niches of snow on the ground.

NOW=== crst keeps buying trucks, they move sooo much freight they can afford to replace trucks and start 20o neaw drivers a week.

That is a fact, cedar rapids, okc, carlisle and fontanna yards all start around 50 to 60 new students a week.

Hi, I'm new to this forum but a longtime trucker. The only thing is , I have been away from the industry (by choice because of my young children) since 2005. My question is would it be a waste to try for USX since I have been away for so long. I started in the military back in 1989 and was a trainer for SWIFT, trucking school graduate in 1994, I have experience with all types of trucks , trailers and loads, 16 years actually behind the wheel and nothing on my driving record since 1998. Does anyone know if this break from trucking was to long for their qualifications. I am very interested in working for them. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
