Ive been driving for this company going on a year and it's suck. They act like its a good job 42 cents a mile home on the weekends.Sounds real good right, but they leave out the part you only may keep 1800 miles,12 stop that take 3 days to get off oh yeah the 4 day we need you too pick up a back haul and deliver it 20 miles from the home terminal.i have worked in tn,nc,tx,fl,il plant it's all the same.if your pay check is short it's takes weeks to get it fixed
Corsicana bedding don't drive for them

Interesting name for a company.Sounds like you're still driving for them.So why don't you find someone else to drive for.Your complaints are typical. It all sounds good till you start working there and then you find out the real deal about them.
-
So you gross $756 on a 1800 mile trip. Take 3 days for the multi-stop. 4th Day pu a load and deliver so you are close to the terminal. Home on weekends.
So what part of being a truck driver am I missing?
I stayed out for 6-8 weeks before I even saw my house and you see it every weekend?bigmikectn, snowblind and bamanation Thank this. -
At least is a good workout, and close to home i guess.

That's because you willingly and foolishly put up with a company hanging you out for weeks on end. And you live in Statesville, NC? A company I worked for a tad over 11 years has a terminal there, yep was home every weekend those 11 years unless I chose not to be. Likely a dozen compaies in that area that would do the same and make a driver good money. Too many good companies out there that will get drivers home every weekend or one can always buy a truck and go home whenever and however much they please. Unfortuantely for this driver, and can't say this is really news to me, Corsicanna is not one of those good companies.

You must not have been home this weekend didn't see your truck parked at our parking spot LOL,I left Furniture Row now I am driving for a small company out of Nashville. If you see me in a white Pete 386 Parked there say hi LOL

Hey TN Trucker, my trailer is there right next to that flatbed trailer in the corner - you know that flatbed trailer that's been sitting there for years and never been moved?
Truck is at the house. Did a load Saturday, both were gone maybe that's when you noticed??, but nothing besides that the past 8 days. I don't always sit at home this much but do enjoy frequent home time even when busy. That's what I traded my "weekends off" job for but honestly if the freight was there right now at my rates I'd be out there working 5-7 days straight and 3 to 4 days off.. It's just not there right now... Haven't noticed a white 386 there yet, been kind of easy to get a spot there here lately, but as you know that can change on any given weekend
darn place is a mud lot right now with all the rain, figures I washed the truck & trailer before I parked it there..

Was a decent place to work until they fired Jeff and Tex. Nasty ####ing plant in Corsicana infested with crickets. If people only knew that if they open up their new mattress they'd prolly find dead crickets inside. I guess if you live in a small town like Corsicana maybe their BS would work otherwise stay away these people have no clue about trucking.

I use to del over there, there restroooms were in my top 5 as the most nasty & filthy in the nation.

I'll bet the upper management has emaculate restrooms.Ougigoug Thanks this.
