it's only about $7.00 and lists truck stops and rest areas and now even scale houses.

real useful purchase. I buy mine at a truck stop.

i use the same thing. grab the phone. open the app. and bam. 2 seconds i have truckstops. walmarts. rest areas. scales. and washes. and fuel prices.

all on the phone. FOR FREE.

if i want to know where the dot scales are at. there's an app for that. FOR FREE. and lists EVERYHING. unlike the atlas that only lists the major ones.
course, if it's not on the atlas. it's usually nothing to worry about. cept for the one out of billings montana into idaho. nothing on the atlas but there's defenitly one there that's opened from time to time.

Maybe it is time to upgrade "old man". Lol... just kidding. Trust me when I say I'm surprised how much I use my smart phone. I didn't think I would use it that often, but when I got it.... it really comes in handy at times.

    What?

You don't pay for your phone service?
And extra for internet on that phone?

I never knew that FREE actually meant that you did not pay for it in the end.

Not to mention the $2750 fine for having a cell phone in hand if DOT sees you. "Honest officer I wasn't texting I was checking my truck stop app."

My only complaint is those little books are designed to fall apart after only a few uses. I tend to plan my day all the way out to my stopping point. That little book is useful for emergency nature breaks though. Just keep a roll of scotch tape handy.
