    Maybe but it seems to be working, no way to know without trying another. I don't have the cash to buy another anyways so this will have to do oh well. was just looking for tuning tips from people more experienced than me.

    Sounds like some Bubba tried to do a "tweak and peak" on the radio without having a clue as to what he was doing.

    I'd take it to a reputable shop to have the tech take a look at it. If it simply needs a tuneup, then it may be worth fixing. If it's a blown final... remember you can buy a CB from Amazon for under $40...

    Maybe, I'm gonna give it a while since I'm broke and it works, at least to listen to so far. I've only talked to one person so I'm gonna try it a few more times. Also unless they were very careful I see zero indication of tampering in the outside.
