I guess this is the right section, if not I apologize ahead of time.
My truck has a crappy Bostrom seat in it, I think it's a 915 Talladega. Worst seat I've ever sat in in my entire life and it's wore out. I'm looking to replace this seat, what do you guys have in your trucks? I'm thinking of taking this seat, having it recovered on the bottom seating area and putting the entire seat on the passenger side of my truck to do away with the rumble seat there. So I might be looking for an entire seat with suspension included for the drivers side.
This is in a Sterling truck, dump truck. Any suggestions?

I have the legacy silver, like riding on clouds. I pull otr so it is great.

I have an Elite 80 that is ok. Lots of people love it, but I am pretty tall and long legs and the seat cushion will not extend out far enough for my legs to be fully supported. I have looked at the Legacy Silver and it seems to be a very good seat as well, with a nice extendable cushion... also the new Bostrom Wide Ride seats are very comfy.
You will basically need to go to a few dealerships and look at that they have, KW seems to give the best prices on their selection from the other postings I've seen. -
I know the seat I have is a cheap Bostrom but I ain't got no love for them right now... But you make a good point... haul my can to a dealer to see what I like. Only trouble is, I live in Stickville USA and we ain't gots no dealers..haha. I suppose the closest would be about 50 miles away, so I'll probably do that. I too am somewhat tall and need the added leg support.

The factory bostrom seats suck. Both my trucks had 915's in them. The AFTERMARKET Bostrom seats are a whole different story. Best of luck in your search

I drove a truck for a guy that had a National seat in it, that was a terrible riding seat but I did break my tailbone way back in the day. To this day that thing bothers me still... young and stupid, ladders and chainsaws.

I prefer a window seat.

Well you get to see more from there, that's for sure. I miss a lot driving... kinda sucks.

I bought a Bostorm Wide Ride low mount base about 3 months ago. The thing is speced out with thier ultra leather, seat heaters, and dual lumbar controls...needles to say the seat is up for sale as I am tired of my tail bone killing me after a 2 hour drive. The seat thats going in is a Sears Seating unit with pretty much the exact same specs. But with the Sears the seat has more cushion, its wider, comes out under my thighs more, and the arm rests are longer. Bostorm quality has really went down hill since I bought my last one 7 years ago.
