'08 DDEC 6 EGR + Regen...

    Hey guys, I have a friend who has a Freightliner Classic with this engine. Its runs like crap and he has had a few go rounds with Freightliner n no help. He really wants to take all this crap (EGR and Regen) off and go back to non emission specs. I know this has been done before, and so I am wondering what the process might be. There is a local shop that wants $8000 to do it, but I think thats mighty steep. Can this be done by himself or would he have to take it to a shop?

    Simple answer: NO he can not do it by himself. Can he repogram the ECM with his cell phone?
