Spread it out compleatly on the ground, then fold it in half along its longest side. (If it was 10x20 fold it so its 5x20) Continue folding in half till it's as wide as you would like it to be when rolled. (3 to 4 feet) Then grab one end of the tarp (Make sure you grab all the folded sections) and fold it about a third of the way over its self.(Using our earlier example you should now have a 2.5 x 20 foot tarp and you would fold it to 2.5 x 14 feet or so) Then just start at the fold you just made and roll it up. Also before you start rolling put two bungee'e sticking out about half way from the other end, that way when you get done rolling the bungee's will be right under the roll so you can wrap them around and keep it rolled.
Hope you can understand what I mean, it's kinda hard to explain wrighting it out. You might look on you tube I'm sure there's some video's on there.fisher guy Thanks this. -
i lay mine out on the ground then fold the flaps in so you have nice square to fold then fold one side to the half way point and do that agian to the same side, then do the same to the other side.. then fold one side on top of the other. then grab the end without the flap and fold it about 2/3's of the way then roll it up
i find this is the easiest way to unroll and such up on the load
here is one way to do it not the way i mentioned http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtvZmcwPKtg
