Well, the EPA 03' 07 amd 2010 regs have never been exactly mached to none of the Euro emission control stages.
The 2010 EPA regs here are, from what I've heard, the Euro 6 stage for Y'all.
We're already been paying and going through the pains of the trials and error, the pain of never before tried technologies since the fall of 09......all this under American kind of "customer support"........Oughhllyyy CRAPP, WHAT A DEAL!!!!

One of the major problems is that the engine it's so chocked by the combination of all EGR+SCR+DPF, that it creates too much soot cause of the EGR which plugs up the DPF waaaay to often amd messes up the SCR to the point that you're in shop every week, not fixing much but, just trying to figure out how to fool the ECM into letting you go few more miles before all sorts of warnings flush nonstop on that dashboard screen. All this at $115+tax/hour for shop labor charges when warranty ain't covering the bill. Sometimes a faulty sensor wiring or harness may cause a 8-10 hour shop labour.......they'll change the sensor itself about 20 times before someone realizes the it might be a problem with the rest of the wiring......

What can I tell all y'all?

It's just peachy to the max!

How will the "Carbon Tax" affected prices off older equipement?
Will it also have any influence on which kind/brand off new trucks that are bought?

It doesn't affect road transport for the first few years of operations.

    After that......................Bend over

Well we can't really give any answers because no one, probably not even the gov knows. But yes everything will increase, buy how much, don't know. It's just what we need the bloody things are expensive enough as it is, you think you guys pay big $ for trucks, try what we have to pay

This "Carbon Tax" is the biggest BS, "legal" criminal extortion of funds from people and industry in the history of the world!!!

However crazy Hitler was in his day, I don't think that even him thought of such total BS!

These "environmentalist" agencies world wide are gone absolutely insane with their BS propaganda in an effort to destroy the economies of the western world!
Funny thing, they ain't saying much about China polluting enough for all the Western countries combined! And yet, we're the ones that have to purchase "carbon credits".

I don't know when CO2 has become a pollutant! But I'd like to "choke and plug" all them "eviron-none-mentalists" and politicians just to reduce the excess of CO2 and methane production! LOL

So, what do you think that's the reason for all this madness?

What in the F do these scumbag politicians think that they're accomplishing with this carp?
This completely BS measures and implementations of BS regs are gonna affect absolutely everything, imcluding food production and distribution. How in the F is this viewed as a "positive" thing?

Somehow I don't think that people realize yet the nightmarish effects caused by all this crap!

Who ever thought up of carbon credits is a genius ! No you don't have to stop polluting as long as you pay for it, if you run a truck you can't help but pollute cos you're not allowed run on anything only fossil fuel, no matter what you'll pay , run an older cheaper better engine and you'll pay more, what a scam, pure genius!

Ya gotta "love" these environment wackos!

In the 1970's we all was gonna freeze and starve to death!
By the late 1980's and the 90's we were gonna boil to death due to "global warming"!
These days the wackos changed their tone to the "climate change" discription, cause they can't really make up their minds about which one it is: "global warming" or "global cooling"???
So, the smart arsess came up with both, warming and cooling at the same time called "climate change".

I'm just wondering, what in the F was the climate doing for tnousands of years, well before a human ever burned an OZ of fossil fuel?

Isn't it the nature of climate co constantly do it's thing and change change change????

Would it all of a sudden stop "changing" just because we go broke buying "carbon credits"????
