    First post here and just saying hi/checking in :biggrin_25519:. I'll be in the class starting Oct 1st and just wondering if anyone else is out there waiting.

    I actually got my CDL two years ago from another school (private school paid out of pocket) but took a nondriving position with Walmart cause it was offered first ... 2 years later and I'm ready to go driving and make some money. Have nothing bad to say about Walmart, they were decent to me.
    Obviously I will need retraining and some seat time but I am confident everything will go fine, ive never had any trouble driving and operating machinery.

    I will be coming from Western Ny area and driving personal vehicle if anyone needs a ride thats close.

    Yes you will enjoy Bill very much. I can honestly say coming to Millis was one of the best decisions I've made. The money is good. Any problem or question I've had everyone has been more than helpful. I just wish I knew a couple more people out here. I've been on with millis since may. My hire date was actually June 6 and I have nothing but good things to say about the company.

    That's good to hear. I spent a fair ammount of time looking at companies that will accept and train inexperienced drivers and be someone I want to stay with after my first year. Millis seemed to be that company and fortunately they have a spot for me. Getting things ready and looking forward to this :)

    hey Guys i will not be there until nov. 26 but all the same can't wait to start with Millis ! i have a class b license when i get my class A packet do i need to take the general knowledge, and air breaks again ? and if so should i do that before i start class? thanks for your time . P.S anyone else out there going to the school starting NOV. 26?

    You need to have your class a permit before starting class but since you have your class b and air brakes already you may just need to take the combination test. Not sure about your state though.
