What state are you in?
and what kind of tractor.
For my 07 Century, plates are like $1400 annually.
Good rule of thumb for insurance is about 3.4% (so their $33 / $10000 of value is seems way off.) -
My plates are 1450 a year for base plates and 23-2600 for pro-rate plates witch allowes you to leave the state. 50 a month is common for bobtail for 2mill liability and about 130ish for full deductible for phys damage.
-
This will be Illinois and Missourri ( St.louis Area) the plates cover all states from what I understand. I have not bought a tractor yet, Im still waiting to fill out a speedsheet with all the correct info before I take the step of buying.
-
Does this look right. Am i missing anything?
Truck payment $1600.00
Plates $208.33
Physical damage $66.00
Bobtail $42.00
Occ/health $175.00
Repair fund $400.00
TAX GUY $75.00
Fuel $2400.00
Grand total $4966.33 month
Total pay $8480.00 month
Leaves $3514.00 month -
a "rough" draft from many months ago. Adjust the numbers as you see fit.
No, I don't share this spread sheet either. Too many complicated formula's to it and it's a LOT bigger than just this one sheet.
-
Thank you for sharing. Helps alot. If i understand cpm these local loads im talking about pay the truck $80.00 plus fuel surcharge. You can get atleast 4 a day and its about 10 miles round trip. So does that come out to $16.00 (1600cpm) a loaded mile.
-
That's $320 revenue PER DAY.
There is no way I would haul those or put those on my truck. Even if it's 10 mile trips. You need about twice that minimum to make it.
How many HOURS is each trip going to take.
There's another thread I broke this down in how I price my loads.
