If my truck had 14/32" at lease start and I return it with 20/32" am I to expect a credit for the extra tread? Or is that a one-way street?

Sitting in Springfield waiting to be worked in. Not something we were told when asked to take this load. Trainer is not happy.

nope no credit, one way street. But emu's discription left out one detail, yes they measure the tire, and then they take all of your dispatched miles to figure how much tire you used, and charge you for the usage. So you started with 14/32, wore them out, then put new on, the wore 8/32 off of them, you used between 18 to 20/32 depending on when you replaced the tires.
Lease drivers get one large discount on tires, when purchased through stevens.
I only had a little over $3,000 in my account when I turned my truck in. Tires, clutch, brakes, minor body damage, cleaning, came to about $2,200.Knew B. Wannabee Thanks this. -
Remember that when asked to do a repower, what was the original appointment time?
And never accept they will take you when you get there as an answer, unless you personally know that to be the case. -
This confused me, I dont understand :/

you should get a credit. I did.Knew B. Wannabee Thanks this.

Not a repower. Apparently they never covered the load in the first place. Then they couldn't be bothered to schedule a new appointment and lied to the trainer. Still sitting here waiting btw and burning my 14.

I hear a lot on the subject of the maintenance escrow account when leasing a truck. When money is put into this escrow please kiss it goodbye and never expect to get it back. It is not a savings account though some companies dangle the carrot of getting big $$$ back at lease completion. Write it off, wave goodbye to it and you won't be disappointed rather than thinking the company is taking your money and getting miffed.
TIP: Decide to put 2c for every mile you drive into your own savings and be happy, That's $2400 if you drive 120K a year. I'll be back later with a great recipe for pumpkin pie and how to get paint off your carpet with lemon juice and your pet hamster.TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
My pet hamster cleaned up the pumpkin pie himself.
I got a bit carried away with my 'time off' account. When my lease was up, there was slightly more than $15,000 in it. I got every penny back.
I'm not sure, but I heard there were some sobs from the executive office when the check was signed.

Finally got in a door. My first trip "down into " the caves. Now we wait to get a call that we are loaded. I still have 4 hours left on my 14 for the day. Sigh.
