Believe it or mot I did call... they had no one there that spoke English... this was a very small grocery store in a poorer section of town. I speak some German and French, but no Spanish to speak of.

The reason you pay to leave Jersey is because you are glad to get out of there!:biggrin_25519:

That's a bad day, for sure. I have no story to match it.

Sadly, a guy today had a worse day.
On I-80 in IL at the 112 exit.
As I was waiting and crawling with traffic I heard on the CB that the jaws-of-life were being used, cutting in to the sleeper to try and get him out.
The last thing I heard was that the ambulance was leaving with him, but no red lights. The driver was dead.

A car was involved as well, but I didn't hear anything about that driver. Both vehicles were smashed up pretty badly.

As bad as your day was, well... it could have been even worse.

    #### bro, that's a helluva day. I've had a few of them driving a straight truck in DC. Everyone there is from somewhere else and they sure as **** drive like it. Always fun dodging some third world ***hole who doesn't believe in stoplights, turn signals or parking laws xD Hope that lawyer gets things straightened out for ya, that sounds like some real bull to me. As far as I know, you have the right to face your accuser, there's no accuser from what I read, therefore no case.

In the Jersey City area, you're not going to find many places that haven't been there for a long time. Not at all saying you shouldn't call, just that it's not the kind of place that has many empty dirt lots.

I've had that happen to me before though. One place I was trying to find, the road didn't even exist when the image was taken for Google Maps let alone the warehouse. That was a fun night. No phone number or address for the receiver. I had to find a list of that company's warehouse sites on it's corporate website and hope I chose the right one as there were two in a 10 mile area. Ended up backing two miles down the road when I found there were K rails blocking me off 10 ft from the security gate and you had to come around the other side.
