    Appears to be a stationary setup with the wire cage fan guard.

    yep. it is industrial use engine.

    the problem is that dataplate is lost and I cant find any CPL to order parts

    HEy pablo, you might also check out a Detroit series 55, that was what was in a 97 Frightliner i was gonna buy. I opened the hood and it looked like a 5.9 cummins to me at first glance, by the way the valve coevers are similar, but was not one. Detroit made some of these as mmid range engines for RV's adn such, adn there are a few in bigger trucks too. Hope this helps.

    I sugest it is old cummins.

    Series 55 looks different and it is bigger

    The engine serial # gets stamped in all Cummins blocks. Look for a flat pad just below the deck surface. The stamping is done by the selling dealer so it would be in an accessible area when fully assembled with accessories.

    The CPL# is also on the injection pump data tag. Is that tag missing too?
