I rarely see trucks doing less than 59-60 in Cal, with cops blowing by without a glance.
In states like ID or MT, they fly by me like I am sitting still...and I am doing 65.
Let me rephrase the question: have you ever received a ticket for doing 3mph over? 4 mph? 5?
    I suppose I could ask a cop....but no....lol.

The boat does 0 mph...blown motor.
    It's for sale for $2500.
    Hit me up.

I wish it was only a thousand.
I paid $4000 for a 15 minute ride this summer before it blew up.
    Got it on video too.
Now I can relive the giant money toilet that is boating.
    Sweet boat though....

I have talked with drivers with un-governed trucks that will do 75+ through some states. I rolled down a hill once and did close to that for about 3 seconds...still under the speed limit.
Scared the hell out of me. Too fast for my blood.

On the other hand, 75 on the water is fun.

last trk we drove was set at 78...we ran I ~ 10 from TX to CA....all the way to the ca border we ran 75.... that trucks was slow comparelimit)d to most we have driven....but even with a faster trk..thats usually about where we set it at (depending on the speed limit)

Hey Jet460 you know the two best days for a boat owner is the day they buy it and the day they sell it ! I fix them all of the time there fun , but they can be expensive ! a friend told me its like doing coke if you can't take a hundred dollar bill and throw it in the trash and not miss it don't do it !you can't afford it !

Maybe it has something to do with the type of truck you have?
I have an 07 FL. You sit up very high and it is a very loud, rough riding truck.
I rode in a Volvo last week, and it was like being in a car.
Could barely hear the engine, and that thing was smoooth.

yeah no offense but IMO freightliners suck...LOL have driven them before...they are LOUD rattle boxes....Volvo's are nice riding quiet trks....i prefer a 379or 389 pete. ( see the purple trk on my profile ) or a w900L KW....
the white pete in my sig line was a triple digit trk....we usually set it on about 4 to 5 over ....

Well sure a Pete or a KW is the top of the line.
I am basically driving the Ford F150 of big rigs..lol.
