Forgot to mention a lot of times we would have the Tandems all the way in the back.Which would make them more likely to tip.

I think I've got my answer, the jackstand is in case the dolly legs give out and the trailer falls while a loader is inside. Thanks.

If a trailer has air suspension and the airbags aren't dumped when the trailer is unhooked the dolly legs can be damaged in air leaks out and the trailer pushes against the legs . This could possibly cause a collapse .

nothing pisses me off more than a trailer that's been dropped, chocked and had a fork lift hit the truck so hard that it's moved it enough to bind up the legs enough to HAVE to use low gear on it and listen/watch the legs pop forward when you raise them over 2 inches. Even AFTER you have pushed it back up to the dock.
