Hello Everyone,

I've been away from wi-fi for a bit, so no internet. But, I finally started my 1st solo run from Fontana (6hr load!, yuck) to Salt Lake City, with a couple of days layover. The holidays screwed up some of us grads, with corporate and customers closed over the weekend nothing could be delivered until monday. I will drop off my load in a few hours (3am!, yikes) and then sit at Sapp Bros Truck Stop and wait for my next one.

I hope that I will get a load to Missoula to meet some of you folks who just started, it will be nice to put a face to the names.

And so it goes.....

So I called Watkins Shepard and have to live within 100 mi of a terminal, unfortunately they closed the Chicago, IL terminal.

 

They have alot of rules and that is what is advertised so you are not to far from home when you get to your Home terminal. I was told you could not take your truck home either but have heard many W/S drivers do take the truck home lots of times.

I woke up monday morning the day I was to start school untill they helped me bomb out of that so I was nice to wake up in my same warm bed with my Tina (Yorkie) snuggled up to my back keeping me warm. I would of missed that for least 120 days before I could bring her.

But anyway I started my new job monday with Regal, Inc trucking company as their Arizona Transportation Agent/Broker so now I spend all day on the load boards looking for loads and trucks. Calling MFG's looking for more loads.

Kind of fun but someday I will have my own truck or two. By then I should know how to run a trucking company.

Three of us needed to be funded by W/S and they would not fund me
