Well said mellonhs. BTW, I can show you my stubs if we ever meet up.
Fat Slob....really? I ran 3400 last week and 3500 this week plus the load I'm grabbing in Lancaster tonight. (378). Obviously that one cut a 1/2 day or so off of next week but come on.
You want to see my stubs?
Regarding your poverty level comment......I too did my research before coming here. As I am new to the industry I expected to make less than the old timers. 1....they've earned their wage 2 they've proven themselves 3 I am a risk (I understand this) 4 You work your way up the salary ladder in EVERY industry.
However, my checks have been anything but "poverty" level.
I've AVERAGED 3229.6 miles per week since I started with my trainer.
Plus: well maintained fleet, respectful people (from office staff to other drivers), safety bonus, ACHIEVABLE mpg fuel requirement, nobody plans my routes or tells me when/where to stop (like some are doing now), raises planned for the end of this month, I've never had to argue over detention or layover pay, reimbusements paid without a hassle, AMPLE respect from shippers and receivers.........do I need to continue?
Paid blogger? LOL......get a life! I'm out here......truck 36208. If you ever see me, please feel free to approach. I will happily back up EVERYTHING that I've stated!

Yeh you gotta just laugh at stuff like this man. He either didnt get a job with Con-Way or he got fired. Or he is just one of those sour pusses who were lazy and tried to be picky or just wears his feelings on his shoulders and quit when one little thing happened to him. But we will never know the truth!NotTheAverageTrucker and KatK Thank this.

mellon, I've been an hour from the house message I fire to the company was "going to house load doesn't deliver until ___. reducing idling and fuel consumption. If needed contact me at _______"
right now in Nacagdoches, be in W. Memphis tomorrow.mellonhs Thanks this. -
BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!! Its just my first time up to bat. Im learning. I still cant believe how much paperwork has to be done (qualcomm and the delivery sheet) Its like triple working... I say send them a copy of the bills and they have all the info they need. Instead of us sending them the bills, putting it on the qcomm, and doing the delivery thing and sending it in... but oh well I will just have to write fast! lol
