Roehl Driver Check In

All I did was ask my FM

 

Picking up a relay to Washington state. 2900 total miles. Gotta do a 34 here though

 

Got hired on official like last Friday. Twiddling my way through securement training in Gary today and tomorrow. Then it's home for a couple days before I get with my trainer (hoping there's not a huge delay, of course).

 

That sounds like a awesome gig, when is the delivery time.

 

1st stop is in salt lake city, UT on Thursday
That's 1800 miles

Then last stop is 900 miles to a place in Washington state. I got spools of cable. Delivery on Monday the 1st

 

Luckily it's a flatbed. You got lucky getting out from under that curtain. Plus Karma is a B but those jokes were worth it! Oh man.... You crack me up.

What is even funnier is that I predicted your loads. Ceiling Tile with insulation going to NYC, then Coils on a Curtain side.. Hell.. I need to open shop at a truck stop and start telling people there futures. Or atleast what ever funny future I can make up for them.

He's made it home late this morning. He's still pretty sore and a little bruised from the seatbelt but all in all is doing ok.

 

I'm glad he is ok Cheryl! He is a lucky man!

 

I am out of the box for now. I don't understand why my FM puts me in there and then just leaves me there. At an Eastbound service plaza on the Thruway. I am about 60 miles from the cons in Saratoga Springs, NY. I am delivering tomorrow afternoon but after that I am supposed to meet up with another Driver for a relay and take that to Oneida, NY for a 0500 delivery on Monday. My appt is at 1500 so I really don't know how this is all going work out yet.
