2013 t 780 d13

I have a friend with 3, 2 -2011, 1-2013, and he says only a couple small issues, so I bought one last week. On my first run as we speak, not an issue yet, smoothest, quietest truck I've ever been in! Ishift is a little weird, I NEVER thought I'd like an auto but this is pretty sweet, especially in large traffic jams, and when you have a coffee on the go!!!!!! Right is free!!
So far so good. 44500 south in to PA got 6.3 mpg. I'm heading nort over same roads but have much lighter load now and it's saying 8.2. Now. Gauge was right on the mark the first run so I'm hoping it is now. 8 mpg is sweet thru all those hills.

 

a friend have a 2012 -780 with cummins,13 speed, before he was driving a t 660 with cummins ,13 speed,only he like more the volvo ,better slepper and more smoother,mpg is better then kenworth.he like the volvo and is happy

 

I don't think you can go wrong. DON'T buy a Crapcadia.......
I bought the extended warranty that includes the harness and sensors, hopefully won't need it but you never know.

 

I have talked with a couple of company drivers at my carrier that are in Volvo 730's similarly set up. They seem to like it overall. No engine issues so far, and one has about 60,000 mile on his. Just not the greatest puller in hills was the only complaint.

 

Warranty is 4 yrs 820kms. I forget the exact pricing. I have until the 9 month mark to add any eextra warranty. I have all the pricing , some are real cheap, the air con warranty is like $500 and covers everything. They have a gold warranty covers all engine harness air etc, but has a 500 deduct able. Was looking At that also. PPrices depend on horsepower rating of engine.

 

Got to Charlottetown and gauge says 8.2 MPG's!!! Won't know pump to pump total until late ttomorrow but if it's close I'll be doing the dance of joy!!!!
