This isn't a case of sour grapes. I'm performing my job sliding tandems to make legal. I picked loads of this type before from this customer. The driver who dropped the empty there was to lazy to slide the tandems to the rear while empty. He just drop it an go. Let the other driver deal with it. That's most drivers attitude. I brought this up at a SAFETY MEETING also. Yet no cooperation

Think what you want. I wasn't going over 10 mph. I was in first gear. Tandems wouldn't slide in customers drop lot, made of gravel and dirt, plus brakes on trailer wouldn't stop wheels from turning. Took me two hours to get the pins released in a lot that was on an incline with bent sliding rails. I mentioned this in 2007 when I posted this blog. Someone who operates this website removed this information I submitted in this blog originally.

Swift has their own driving school, which should indicate they deal with lots of inexperienced drivers. I have seen a number of Swift drivers drivers turned over in turns, indicating over speeding. Perhaps they should keep the speed governed low.

That company rep wasn't there. He don't know what was going on. You can't slide tandems with pens engaged. "DUH" Read my original "POST" in 2007 and get the entire picture.

This crap happened in October 2007. Frankly I'm sick of reading about it. Take it for what it's worth. With the implementation of Compliance Safety Accountability (SCA score) any driver that drives for Mokan Distribution better scrutinize those trailers. It was a misstatement on my part about their trucks. They were old but they did keep them up at least the truck I was driving. Although there was another there mentioned to me Mokan wouldn't repair the drive line on his assigned truck due to vibration. The trailers no. I'm through with this Mokan Blog. I'm not submitting anymore replys, it's an episode in my life I'm putting behind me and getting out of the field. I've had enough of trucking companies with their less tan ethical behavior and attitudes towards their drivers.
