Does anyone have information on the tanker jobs in Wyoming/North Dakota? I have heard you can make 70,000+ a year hauling water to the drilling site (100 mile radius) with no driving hour limits. Is this true? Is relocation required? Any info is appreciated.

yes you can make over 70k a year easily. you will be doing more than just drill sites. 100 mi radius yes HOS is a loaded question. some company's will run you by the log book others run outlaw. you will need a place to stay. some company's will help you with that. cost of living is very expensive cost of everything is inflated.

Hey EZ do they do much production water out there?
I always preferred produced water, haul out of well sites that are already drilled and set up, go in by yourself without it being packed full of people, measure the tanks levels and take your load to a treatment plant.
Hope all is well with owning your own truck by the way. -
Thank you for your help

yeah do a lot of production water i also do a lot of the service work stuff. as they prefer not to have the lessor experienced drivers do some of that stuff. I also enjoy production water, its a bit more relaxing than say hauling frac water. I do a bit of everything though, don't haul frac much anymore, but haul drilling fluids invert ect, haul production, haul to and from drill rigs, work over rigs ect ect. If its liquid and gets moved around the oil field iv probably hauled it at one point or another. even hauled a load of killed out concrete from a well casing job once..lol
when it gets slow ill drive wench truck sometimes as well. haul everything from frac tanks and 400bbl uprights to 53ft long 14foot wide flat tanks, pump houses and generators. its always a welcome change of pace although i could see frac tanks getting old quick if you did it all the time.
ill pm ya on the truck rather than muddy up this guys thread
But ill say I'm probably gonna stick out the winter where im at and see what spring brings, that means i got some work to do to get my camper out at work winter ready. -
