i understand advantages of independent suspension but here tatra earn bad reputation like uncomfortable vehicle bad quality .....i am 100% sure that no body would risk with it

 

About the buildquality i cannot make any statements.
About the ride.........smooth,very comfortable.
I feld no vibrations on the rough ground.

I was at the Africa Aeronautical and Defense show at an air-force base yesterday.
Navistar (International) had a stand with some of their offerings.
Maxforce engines etc and a Tatra 8X8 as well.
Seems they are selling Tatra trucks to the military.

 

Interesthing.
As Tatra here is under the Paccar umbrella.(minority share off stocks in Tatra by Paccar)
Did they have the Daf CF cab?

The show was was a real defense show that ran the week.
On the week end there was a 2 day air show open to the public.
Most of the stands were unnamed by this stage.
There was no one to ask and I could only view from behind a rope barrier.
The cab looked Tatra but armored.
I went down on all fours to try and see what motor it had but it was covered by an armor plate.
It had the well known tubular chassis.

There were also all wheel drive Power Star trucks from China.
Very muck like the Mercedes SK range in looks.
