Sitting at a Walmart down the road from the cons waiting on a load. I wonder how this will take since nobody comes in for another hour. They don't allow overnight parking but they were nice enough to let me sit here for a couple of hours after I went in and talked to them.

More and more companies are getting this way. I have no real information to provide as to why, but I'm gonna say it's for several reasons. 1. some dudes are gross, 2. too many trucks too early causes congestion, 3. liability for drivers on their property (they don't want to pay for your stupid accident).

That's how I see it, and they just want to control everything. Kind of like me.

Well I guess I am paying the price for showing up late for my appt on this load. I sent a non commit when they sent me the pre plan I could not make the appt. Their response what time can you be there. I said 1100. Of course I got the famous "We will call the customer and let them know" line, which they almost never do. Now I don't know who sent me this pre plan because I got it at 630 CST. I thought the planners didn't come until 0700. I have been on the door for almost 4 hours and the light is still green. I can only figure one of two things has happened. They didn't call like always and took a gamble or they actually did call and my FM doesn't want to tell me I will get loaded when they get a chance. It is a good thing I have only 172 miles left on this 296 mile run because I am supposed to deliver at 0500 in Olyphant, PA

No wonder roehl has lost some of their accounts due to our customer service rep's negligence.

Anyway, I'm in east st. Louis at the pilot. Shutting down for the day.

Got 580 miles in today, pretty darn good with only 9:48 of drive time used. I still got 1:11 left on my 11 lol. Gonna grab some taco bell.
