Good luck with training. Keep in mind to follow the safe seven, your trainer WILL quiz you on it almost every day. Like whats number 5 in the safe seven? My answer would always be to not hit ####. If your a sneaky sneaky man, it should be on the wind shield of the trainers truck in the corner. I know on my current truck it is (old trainers truckO

Well, we're excitedly nervous! Hubby got his conditional letter of employment today and has been invited to be a member of the Roehl team!! After 20 months of unemployment after 14 years of military service this feels INCREDIBLY GOOD!!!! We are sssooooooo grateful and sssoooooooooo excited!!!

Relief is in sight!!! Depending on if he can get his physical this week, Hubby starts orientation on the 1st or 8th of October. Hoooorraaay!!! :yes2557:

Thank you for your husbands service.

Glad he got a letter. Joining the Roehl team is a smart move, Roehl is a great company to learn the ropes with. Welcome to the Roehl team!

Thank you and thank you, lol. :-D

We've researched a great deal of companies and there were 3 in particular that we were holding our breath for; Roehl was #1 on our wish list simply because of what their drivers say about working for them. Hearing all the positive things that drivers have had to say (and seeing that there are hardly any negative views at all) about Roehl convinced us that we wanted to add our own experience to the ranks. We're not looking for a job, we're looking for a career- a positive experience. :yes2557:

    Hey , Congrats !!
Maybe we will all meet around those dates because I had got my Conditional Letter of Employment about 3 weeks ago , but the place where I'll get my physical's earliest date wasn't til this Friday !

Then they say it takes another 4 days to get over to the recruiter.

I sure would love to get going but I'm wondering if October isn't filled up already.

    We shall see.

By the way, I , too , was military. !

I was an officer in the Army from 1986-1996 where I served a short time in the Gulf.
Then I went into to the Navy as an officer , but was in the Reserves until
9/11 when several months later I was recalled.

I got my Honorable Discharge in 2005.

Tell hubby I thank him for HIS service also !!

Thank you for your service aswell. Roehl loves military, you even get a sticker on the side of your truck. My truck has that sticker, though I am not military. If you would like a picture of what the sticker looks like, I'll happily take one for ya'll.

Oh that's right, I've heard about the infamous sticker! That was another reason Roehl caught my attention, I won't lie, lol. (I'm kind of biased about my husband's service....surviving 5 front line deployments is kind of a big deal for this military spouse, lol.) I would love to see a picture of that sticker if it's not too much trouble- I'm sure my mother-in-law and parents would be excited to have a gander. :biggrin_25517:
