left the road just to be called back

I have nearly five years total experience of driving a truck otr/regional. I am a thrid generation driver. Almost all of the men in my family either are, or have been in trucking.
I left the road a little over a year ago to "give up trucking". I got tired of the lifestyle and wanted to be home with the family.
Saying that, I used my associates degree to get a boring job working in a cubicle for 9 bucks an hour. The money part isn't real important for the fact that my wife makes pretty good money and we live a modest lifestyle.
After 2 months, the Road came calling. I went back on the road for about 9 months, then I left again, this time for good. I have a nice little job driving a rollback. Im on call 4 days a week, 20 hours a day.
It has been 3 months now, and it's starting to get old. The road is calling again. Today in the mail, I got a recruiting flyer from a company that I left over a year ago.
My wife just grinned, said she "could see the twinkle in my eye" lol
Everyone that knows me would agree that "I have diesel in my veins", my question/comment is this:
Anyone else with a similar story? Have you tried to give up the road just to be pulled back? I almost feel like a character on that TV show "LOST" that was one a while back. When they Island called them back.lol
It's not going to cause any problems at home or anything like that. My wife understands, and she was the first to say that "I couldn't make it without having a logbook and somewhere to be by a certain time."

You should definitely try Schneiders walmart account...DC right there in HopeMills. Although Schneider doesnt have a terminal there, when I drove for them, I was at the DC atleast once a week, and Campbells soup there in Maxton too.
