I was on that load, Cincy to Goddard, the night my truck got run over... NEVER AGAIN!! well unless it's ready during the day and i get to lay off or stop before it gets to late!!

Anyhow i'm over on the West Side of the Mississippi for the first time in a while, been an pretty good trip for the most part, I'm currently in Dodge City waiting for an 2-stopper that goes to CT and NJ for Monday morning.. if anyone is familiar with Burris in Rocky Hill or Porky Products in Carthret NJ feel free to feel me in... I guess i won't be going home until Monday, you know i'm not like some of you road warriors on here that stay out weeks at a time, can't do it!!!!

 

By the way, bless CH Robinson's heart which gave me $100 dollars lay-over for taking an 10-Hour break since the load i went to pick up wasn't ready after an supposed mix-up with pick-up times in Alton, IL... Great Times!!

 

Dropped the goddard load in great bend, went to dodge city to pick up my run for johnstown, ny, then, well, i got outta dodge(pun intended). Squeaked into emporia at the flying fish hook for the night with 10 minutes left on the clock..woooooooooo!

 

Get in there as early as you can with a full stomach and breakfast packed. I don't know how early they will let u in though. I wanna say 2100. It's FCFS, and the last 5 doors they hand out are kind of a pain. When is your "appointment"?

 

8 A.M. Monday Morning, I gotta Drop Burris in Rocky Hill, CT at 1 A.M, so i assume they allow you in early right??

 

Sitting at bosselmans in grand island...gotta go to oscar mayer in the morning in davenport....

I found the most popular driver at bosselmans...(well for those of us that have wee ones) hes pulling an RGN trailer with t thomas the train on back...i had to get a pic for my wee ones...otherwise i would be a terrible dad

 

Hoo, what a day. Started at the SB mm231 rest area on I65 in Indiana, and made front royal to drop and park with 4 minutes left on my 11. I got adventurous with my routing too. 65 south to 70 east (no surprises...it's the cheap route). Then pa43 south to US40 east down into Maryland. I68 east to Cumberland, then MD51 south...which turns into wv9 east. Wv29 dives south after a little while, and then Ts at wv127. That shoots you east to 522 about 12 miles north of Winchester. Not for the faint of heart. Lots of shifting. Got into the low range a couple of times...but I don't know that it might not be faster.

 

Burris is 0100 Tuesday?

 

Burris in Rocky Hill is 1 am Monday Morning, Porky in Jersey is for 6 Monday Morning.... Will Porky put you in a door early?? I plan on being there around 4

Dale wants me to Dead head to storm lake from the cities to pick up a load that finishes in columbus IA to take to Ft atkinson WI on monday....I only have 14 hours and don't recap til monday....

they should just run me home since I really am only 2 hours away....or run me to Eau Claire to pick up menards.....that would be better utilization.....

I am getting tired of doing favors quickly......its wearing me out...but as long as it pays I will keep doing them...
